Can I upload a doctor’s lab request?
Yes. Send a clear photo or PDF. Review the matched tests and correct anything that does not look right before you approve the request for Care Manager validation and quoting.
How will my Home Service schedule be confirmed?
Tell us your preferred date and time when you start your request. A Care Manager reviews the available collection arrangements and confirms the agreed schedule with you.
How does the Home Service Fee work?
One Home Service Fee covers one household visit for up to five patients. A Care Manager confirms the applicable fee and any location-based charge before you proceed. Home Service is a service charge and is excluded from discounts.
Can PWD and STAT requests be used together?
Yes. The applicable PWD discount may be used on eligible laboratory tests together with STAT service. STAT and Home Service are service charges and are excluded from discounts.
What does turnaround time mean?
Turnaround time, often shortened to TAT, is the expected time from sample collection until a laboratory result is released. It varies by test. A Care Manager will confirm what applies to your request.
What does STAT mean?
STAT means a laboratory test is prioritized over the standard processing schedule when that service is available. It is not emergency medical care and does not guarantee a release time. If you need urgent medical attention, contact your doctor or go to a hospital.
How will I receive my results?
LABExpressMD emails results to the address confirmed with the request. A patient portal account is not required.
What if a price or test is not listed?
Send the item to a Care Manager. We will confirm availability and use an approved price source rather than guess.
Will uploading a request book an appointment?
No. The upload starts a review and quote process. A Care Manager confirms available arrangements with you before anything is booked.
